Ross has 25 years experience in a range of media and business services.  He studied Journalism and Communications at Queensland University which gave him a good grounding in media.  Since then he worked in a range of industries in the private and public sectors.  Ross is experienced in writing for different media ranging from basic press releases to developing complete advertising and promotional campaigns.

Ross was instrumental in developing a number of key events.  He commenced the first major Senior golf tournament in Australia in the Von Nida Classic identifying a growth area in this field.  Ross also promoted the first Brisbane Marathon, even negotiating the rights to the 1982 Commonwealth Games Logo to assist in the marketing of the event.  Robert De Castella was instrumental in bringing the Marathon to the forefront of Australian runners and his victory in the Brisbane Commonwealth Games was a key moment in this.  The link of this logo to the event helped in Brisbane reliving the great memories of the Games.
